 Thanks for visiting....
As many of you already know, Clara was diagnosed December 29, 2010 at 4 1/2 yrs old with Juvenile Dermatomyosits. This was very hard news to take. We went to the doctor simply because Clara had a rash. We thought that she was possibly allergic to our Christmas tree, since the rash appeared the week that we got our tree.
I spent the next month reading anything and everything that I could find about the disease. Ok, it was more like every day since that day but, who's counting? :)
Because Juvenile Dermatomyositis is so rare (only affecting 3 in 1,000,000 children), there is not a lot of funding that goes into research. There is no cure! However, children can go into remission.
